Ram Avtar Eye Hospital & Glaucoma Pavilion was started on 16th January 2003, by Dr. Sunil Gupta & his wife Dr. Disha Gupta with a mission to provide quality specialized eye care in Jaipur.
It was inaugurated by HH (Brigadier) Bhawani Singhji, the erstwhile ruler of Jaipur.
It is situated at Tilak Nagar, Jaipur’s prime posh area, adjacent to the famous Raja Park market.
In a short span of four years, the hospital has a name in eye care of Jaipur, with emphasis on Glaucoma, Cornea, Oculoplastics & ocular Trauma, besides all routine eye care.
First centre to be dedicated to Glaucoma. It’s also the first & only hospital in Jaipur to have OCTOPUS-301 perimeter imported from Switzerland & one of the only four eye hospitals to be authorized by the Government of Rajasthan for Corneal Transplantation.
With a state-of-art Operation Theatre Complex, all major eye surgeries are routinely performed here.
On 16th of every month, a free OPD is conducted to benefit the poor & needy.
